As you have noticed on the calendar, this year we will be hosting a 5th-12th Grade Academic Awards Chapel in lieu of an evening awards ceremony. The program will take place Thursday, May 1, at 11:30 a.m. in the Main Gym. The program will last approximately one hour. Emails were sent out today to notify parents if your student is to receive a class medal or special award at the ceremony. If you received an email, please reply so that we will know that you received it. Also, the Senior Class and Honor Roll students (all A’s or all A’s and B’s for the first three 9-weeks) will be honored. We will not give notification of Honor Roll students since you already have this information through headmaster and report cards. We feel that it is very important that our deserving students be honored in front of the entire student body. They certainly deserve the recognition. We hope that you will be able to attend this ceremony as we celebrate and honor the hard work of our students.
Remember, we DO have school tomorrow, April 18th! It is a make up day for snow. For 4K-4th grade, Easter parties will be from 1:30-2:45.

Next week, April 14-17, we will be having our Stanford 10 testing. 5K-11th graders will be tested. The testing will take place each day from approximately 8am to 10am. These tests provide an important opportunity for us see where each student is academically and help us know how to best meet their academic needs as we work with them in the future. Please help your student do their best by making sure they get plenty of sleep and a good breakfast each morning. Also, please make sure that your student is on time each morning. Testing will begin promptly at 8:00. Classes will not be able to be interrupted during testing, so please consider this when making any appointments, etc. The seniors will not be testing and must be at school by 10am Monday through Thursday. Classes will resume with a normal schedule on Friday.
